Revolutionary NEW LED bulbs for boat and RV
USE 90% LESS ENERGYWhether it's your home, business, boat, RV or airplane, saving money by reducing energy cost is good for the environment and good for your wallet. While this technology has been around since the '60s, LEDs are only now beginning to realize their true potential for those who want to be environmentally responsible but who also require a good quality light. The new Array LEDs are the first LEDs that, in our opinion, offer an archtectural / museum quality light source while saving approximately 90% on your energy bill. With average use, these bulbs will more than pay for themselves in the first year alone. This energy savings is particularly important on boats, yachts, busses, commercial vehicles, recreational vehicles, trailers and any other vehicle that generates its own power and runs off a battery or battery bank. THE FIRST LED TO BREAK THE 95 LUMEN PER WATT BARRIERThe main complaint about earlier generations LEDs is that they didn't give off as much light as a traditional bulb. The Array LEDs are the first bulb to break the 95 lumen per watt barrier, meaning these lights produce as much light as a traditional incandescent or halogen bulb. In addition, Until now most LEDs had a blueish cast. This is partialy because the blue/violet end of the spectrum gives off more light as measured in lumens. Because early LEDs had difficuly emmitting enough light, manufacturers didn't want to reduce that even more by giving them a warmer color. Because the Array LEDs are very bright, we offer natural daylight and warm white bulbs in additional to the traditional cool white of LEDs.
THE FIRST DIMMABLE LEDAnother drawback to LEDs is that you couldn't create an ideal ambiance with them because they weren't controllable by a dimmer... Until now! The Array LEDs work with any dimmer. And because they draw only a fraction of the wattage of a traditional bulb, you can control many times as many LEDs with a single dimmer. SIGNIFICANTLY LONGER LIFEThe Array LEDs are rated to last 20,000 to 70,000 hours depending on the bulb. Based on burning these lights at full power, eight hours a day, they're rated to last from almost seven years to approximately 26 years per bulb. OUTSTANDING COLOR ACCURACYUnlike cheap LEDs sourced overseas whose color varies from bulb to bulb and lot to lot, the Array LEDs are Made in the USA and are highly color accurate. Each bulb is availale in Warm White (3,000K), Natural Daylight (5,000K), and Cool White (6,500K). COOL RUNNING Unlike incandescent bulbs that get very hot or halogen lamps that get hot enough to cause severe injury, the Array LEDs merely get warm to the touch. This has several advantages.
